Salt Test
This test can effectively evaluate many corrosion mechanisms, such as general corrosion, electrochemical corrosion and crevice corrosion, etc. Salt corrosion chamber is especially suitable for Corrosion testing of industrial protective coatings.
●Salt fog conditions: Salt fog conditions can be understood as ordinary neutral salt fog, which can spray 5% foggy sodium chloride solution through the nozzle.(Salt Spray chamber)
●Drying conditions: Drying conditions require sufficient air circulation in the test space, not only to control the drying temperature, but also to avoid the interference of additional corrosive gases and liquids.
●Humid conditions (constant temperature and humidity): Humid conditions need to provide specific temperature and humidity for the test space. The temperature range is generally between 35°C and 70°C, and the relative humidity range is generally between 95% and 100%.
●Spraying conditions: Spray the test solution (such as 5% sodium chloride solution) on the tested sample through the pressurized system and nozzle.(Salt corrosion test chamber)
●Standing conditions: Placed at room temperature, the sample usually undergoes a slow drying process without corrosive vapors and gases, almost no gas flow, and the temperature is usually 25±5'C. The relative humidity is 50% or lower.
